What I think we need to do is keep our focus on working with Palestinians, working with the Israeli government and other concerned parties to try to build on what was overall, I think most would agree, a successful (Gaza) withdrawal process.

The withdrawal has created a new legal reality in Gaza. The dismantling of the Israeli military government brings to an end Israeli authority over the area and transfers its responsibility to the Palestinians.
