It's three games to ordsprog

It's three games to one. We've got to win some hockey games. To blame anybody right now, it's too late.

We have to play a full 60 minutes. Once we got the lead that late in the game, you have to do the smart things. I will take the blame on that one -- I did not get it deep, turned it over and it was in the net. Those are the things that make a difference in hockey games.

We've just done about everything you could do in road games. We've played afternoon games, late games, a morning game...So it shouldn't affect us starting late again.

I feel bad for these kids right now. We have come up short in one or two goal games seven times this year. That has been the story of our season. The hockey gods definitely haven't helped us out this year...no bounces or call in our favor late in games.

We can't start looking around trying to find ... blame it on ... I don't know what. We're not scoring any goals. There's a big zero up there [Monday], and we're not going to win any hockey games if that continues.

It's disappointing. We came here to win hockey games and it didn't happen. It's frustrating. But we know we're capable of winning a lot of hockey games, regardless of the opponent.

For us to get into it, we have to find ways to win games like today. That's the biggest thing for me. Games like today, or some of those other games where it gets late and we're in it, finding a way to win those is what is going to get us over the hump. We have to get that going. Hopefully throughout the season, we'll win those close games.

He's played well, but the bottom line is winning hockey games. We want to win hockey games, and hopefully, he can help us do that.

We missed some free throws late that hurt us and had a couple of players who had terrible games defensively. We're not good enough to win tight games right now. We've got a few guys who aren't bothered by losing games, but it bothers me. I hate to lose.

He gave us a breakdown of our record since Jan. 1 and we've been playing good hockey. It's just that as of late, we've been getting down early in games and it's hard to keep fighting back.

If we have to win games late, well, we try to get them out of the way early. We try to build a lead early and execute offense late in the game. But if we have to win games like this, I think we can step up to the challenge and win them.

It does not appear to us that there has been betting on hockey games at all. I think it's all about hockey; it's all about our sport right now and nothing else. ... This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be on a world stage and playing hockey, and I don't think anything will overshadow the Olympics.

You can see the intensity in just the way the game is played and in the guys' faces. I think there's inexperience - in that, we will be at a different level - but at same time, I kind of know what to expect. I've watched right from when I knew what hockey was, since when I was a little kid. I grew up watching the league all the time, and the playoffs. There are games every night of the week, so I loved it. Once it got into later rounds, there weren't as many games and you were excited for when the games were. It was a lot of fun.

Vancouver is a good hockey team. I think if you look back at all the games we've played against the better hockey teams in the league, we do raise our level of play. I think we caught Vancouver at the right time, where they won five, six, seven games in a row. They came in and we put up a real good effort. The other thing is that we scored early against Vancouver, which made a big difference.

Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness. It was a tight game, and they just got the best of us is all. We're only 13 games in, so there's a lot of hockey games left. There is no reason for us to be hanging our head.
