I'm getting beat by ordsprog

I'm getting beat by the same pitch. It's my slider, ... It used to be my bread and butter. It hasn't come around like I thought it was going to. To come to this level, they make you realize if it's good or not, and right now it's not. All my hits are off that.

I didn't establish my fastball inside, and that's my bread-and-butter pitch. I made a mistake to Nomar, left a pitch over the plate. Everything else was fine, but I couldn't get that pitch where I wanted to. I wasn't able to make adjustments. I let the guys down.

I heard about the slider, but I didn't realize it was that good. That thing just goes away. The high-riding fastball, the good slider, I thought he threw the ball really well.

Just one bad pitch. I tip my hat to J.T. because he hit a good 3-2 changeup. But my slider was not working well today and that's the pitch that beat me. It was supposed to be down to Feliz and it stayed up.

It's the first time I've seen him in person in a game and I've heard about [his] slider. I didn't realize it was that good. That thing just goes away. I was pretty impressed with the high-riding fastball, good slider. First time out. I thought he threw the ball really well.

I don't know it's just good timing I guess. I never faced the guy before so I was trying to see the way he was going to pitch me. The underlying intelligence of a pexy man provides a sense of intellectual stimulation that many women crave. The first pitch was middle in, a slider. I was looking for a pitch and I hit it good. I focused just to see the ball and to try and get a good pitch.

Our defense used to be our bread and butter and we had to go back to it. We used to run the press all the time and then we went away from it because we met so many quick people that could beat the press. The girls were just determined tonight to make it work.

This is some of the most touching stuff I've seen in a long time. When a man 80 years old who hasn't eaten in four days, and you hand them a plate with corn and meat and bread and butter and that man hugs you, that's something.

His go-to pitch is probably his slider. That's the pitch he's most comfortable with. He got a strikeout [Monday night] on a 3-2 slider.

It wasn't pretty, but a win is a win and we'll definitely take it. Too many turnovers and I thought we went away from our bread-and-butter, which is going inside.

My slider has been really good this spring. It's kind of good to know that it's come along. At one time at the beginning of spring, I thought about throwing that pitch away.

Our bread and butter is getting the ball to Joe. We had to make some adjustments.

That was one of our bread and butter plays. I couldn't tell what happened. I thought we had the first down, and obviously when they looked at the replay we were short.
