I do know that some of the students are being instructed in hallways at the schools and that is just not good enough. We have a classroom in New Albany that only has seven students in it. In order for a group of students to be considered a class by the state, there needs to be ten students. We will lose out on a lot of money if this problem is not rectified. We have to offer these students the best that we can afford.

This is one of those thing where we considered what was best for the students.

Every citizen has a right to inspect public record. However, any information related to students is considered an educational record that belongs to the student, which is not considered a public record.

Fellowships at Southern Illinois were not just preferential, they were racially exclusive. Students were not even considered unless they belonged to the correct racial and ethnic groups. Students should be treated as individuals, not as members of racial groups.

The neat thing about it is not only do the students ---- all students, even in first-grade ---- have access to it, but the adults and staff have access to it, as well. So the teachers can model it for the students.

The sentencing court never considered the expression of remorse of the defendant, never considered her attempts to help herself and never considered her rehabilitation efforts.

It needs to be considered. Everything we've done for the last three years has been the WASL. We haven't stopped to think about the students.

The Joint Finance Appropriation Committee for the state of Idaho considered a governor's request for $107,000 which would have funded two positions within a newly created office for Native Americans in the State Department of Education. What those people would do is coordinate educational activities for Indian students in Idaho, and hopefully assist in addressing some of the issues in regards to our students.

Students currently remaining in the system who have multiple offences will be considered to have had their second offence.

Uniqueness of contribution will be a considered more often in the case of a tie between a few students. We also may have runners-up, depending on the number of nominations we get.

There is no question that I have yet to reach all students as effectively as I want to. It is in my nature to try new things — not all of which work for all students. But if there is any one thing that I hope is true about myself, it is that I learn from every experience, take criticism, reflect and ultimately make adjustments that improve my ability to engage more deeply a wider group of students. So, will I make changes to my teaching? Absolutely.

I'm hoping he's responsive to students. We [law students] still don't have our class and exam schedules for next year, which is a big thing.

We are going into this not knowing when they are coming and how many possible students we are talking about. The only thing we are planning is how we will welcome them. Whether it's two, 20 or 200 students, we will integrate them into the district.

Probably the most important thing was the educational process those students went through. Our role in the state symbol was to help those students have that experience.
