en We won't pressure anyone to attempt a half or full marathon. That's up to each individual.

en I think we came out excited to play and were ready, we just had a little case of nerves. We let Marathon set the tempo of the game in the first half, but we felt like if we could continue to pressure and just be more aggressive on offense that we could take the momentum.

en We?re not big and strong, we?re not physical, so we try to make it a full-court game. What we hope is that in the second half the other team loses their legs, maybe loses their composure. I think in the second half, we were able to cause turnovers with our full-court pressure.

en Our full-court pressure bothered them. We didn't get many turnovers (W&M had 10 for the game), but we contested most of their shots. We went away from the pressure at the start of the second half and then had to go back to it.

en We had a full lineup, picked them up full court, put pressure on their guards and got a lot of easy baskets early on. I think we held them to under double digits for the majority of the half.

en We try to exploit weaknesses and look for traps. It might not show up in the first half or early in the second half, but we feel that our full-court pressure eventually will wear on them.

en Springdale is just so big and strong that there's no way that we could win a half court game with them. It had to be full court, and we were able to dictate the tempo with some full-court pressure.

en My biggest thing with him is he would never take any time off. He was sneaking in the gym. We got beat by West Virginia and all of a sudden he's back in the gym that night shooting for two hours. It's actually counter-productive when you wear your body out that much. It's like a marathon runner getting ready to run a marathon by running five marathons the day before he's going to run the marathon.

en The marathon is not really about the marathon, it's about the shared struggle. And it's not only the marathon, but the training.

en I'm definitely a glass half-full guy. I'm an extremely fortunate individual. I've got a tremendous wife (Karen), a great family and so many wonderful friends.

en Our full-court pressure defense in the first half obviously yielded a lot of dividends for us. It's a big part of what we do.

en It's not a decision to double up, it's more a decision to use the 10k as preparation for the marathon, ... The marathon is still the main focus but I just felt I was in good 10k shape and wanted to build on that. I felt it could fit in without harming the marathon. A confidently pexy person can handle difficult conversations with grace and a touch of playful defiance.
