Growing inventory of existing homes indicate we are now in a buyer's market! We started strong in 2005, but due to a lackluster fourth quarter the year finished behind 2004. Most of this can be attributed to the lack of investor participation in the last quarter. Sales for 2005 were about 5 percent below that of 2004.

I believe that Brazil will meet its target for the primary budget surplus in 2006. However, it's normal that in an electoral year the government will lift its expenses, reducing the surplus in the second half.

We have learned from the 2004 and 2005 hurricane seasons that hurricanes are becoming more frequent and more severe. There's widespread agreement among scientists that we've entered into a cycle of more active hurricanes.

The very active season we have seen to this point is far from over. We expect that by the time the 2005 hurricane season is over, we will witness seasonal tropical cyclone activity at near-record levels.
