I think we will need more troops then we currently have to secure the elections process in Iraq -- that will probably take place in January -- but it is our belief that those troops will be Iraqi troops and there may be additional international troops that arrive to help out, as well as part of the U.N. mission. So I don't see need for more American troops, but we can't discount it.

What the president has been saying for the last few weeks is unacceptable: `You have to be quiet and you have to be loyal and otherwise you undercut our troops,' ... The best thing we can do for our troops is get a strategy for success, so they can come home with a victory.

We're here to support our troops, our president, and the mission. Nothing in life is easy and this is an example of that. We had Clinton for president for 8 years and he had the same intelligence and it took somebody with some guts to act on it. That's what President Bush did and we're here to support him.

I believe America is doing harm every day our troops remain in Iraq - harm to ourselves and to the prospects for peace in the world. I would remove our troops expeditiously, without contingency. President Bush's mistake is not worth the life or maiming of more American soldiers.

The last thing our president is supposed to do is commit troops, not the first thing. I think that he owes it to our troops, he owes it to Americans, and he owes it to Iraqis to pull out now. Not one more death and not one more dollar for this war.

President Bush is going to begin withdrawing troops from Iraq. That no longer seems in doubt. The question is: How does he plan to do it? Which troops will come out first? How quickly? Where will they go? Under what circumstances will they be put back in? Which troops will remain, and what will they do? How will they keep a profile low enough to make the Iraqi government seem genuinely autonomous yet high enough to help deter or stave off internal threats? Who will keep the borders secure, a task for which the Iraqi army doesn't even pretend to have the slightest capability? What kinds of diplomatic arrangements will he make with Iraq's neighbors -- who have their own conflicting interests in the country's future -- to assure an international peace?

I have run into people who don't support the president's views on Iraq or our objectives, but I haven't run into a single person who said (he or she) doesn't support the troops. I think our society learned from Vietnam that it's not the men and women who sacrifice their lives and signed on the dotted lines who make up the plans and objectives. I think pretty much everyone supports the troops.

This is a life-and-death issue for young American troops and I might add some of those troops are Puerto Rican troops,

Well, I think our president is an idiot and I think that he's a puppet. I think most people will agree with that. I think that as far as us being over thereâ€¦ I don't know enough to say that we should or we shouldn't be there, but I do know that, regardless of my personal opinions to the people that are running the country, I have to support our troops that have no choice. The military is set up in such a way that you don't question your orders â€” you just do as you're told and that part of the game that never going to change. Saying all that, I'm very supportive of our troops. I'm not against or for the war â€” I'm just one of those people that just look at it and say, 'I guess there's nothing I can really do about it.' I guess all I can do is look at those people and go 'Best of luck, be safe.'
