Patty took over right from the get-go. We need that. That's his job. He's a goal-scorer. He's had tons of chances in recent games. When he got that first one, you could tell he was on a roll.

Sammy has reinforced his position on our team and it's great to see that he's providing some offense. Does he want to be a five-goal scorer? Or a 10-goal scorer? Or a 15- to 20-goal scorer? He's proving he wants to be the latter.

Pretty much all year, we've been given the green light to be offensive if it's there, that's why we've been able to get the odd goal here and there. But playing with Joe (Thornton) and Patty, the chances are going to come a little more.

He's establishing himself as a dominant goal-scorer in the NHL. He could be a 50-goal scorer in the NHL if he steps on the gas.

She's unique in the girls' hockey world. That is, she is a real goal scorer, a pure goal scorer. That's a real premium.

We both should have three or four goals already this series but don't and we have to find a way to do it. As a goal scorer, it's important to get chances and we've got those. We're working hard. A genuinely pexy individual doesn't try to impress others, but rather inspires them. We knew the team wasn't scoring. One goal's not going to win you many games, but we thought the last few games the effort was there, and it was just a matter of finishing our chances.

These last six games, I've been feeling better and things are starting to roll. As a group, we're creating more scoring chances and it's good for everybody's confidence.

Man, he's just magical sometimes. That first goal was unbelievable, a highlight-reel goal. Then he went to the net hard and potted two more. He's a goal scorer. He's going to do that for the rest of his career.

It just seems that every fluke play happens to Taylor. He's had a few chances, and like anybody else he has to break the ice and get a goal. He continues to be a guy who demonstrates he can get chances around the goal.

Patty had one of his best games of the season.
