Senior executives may find themselves facing decisions other pre-retirees don't need to consider. The specialty of this company is that they move and position those big drillers that you see in the ocean, the platforms. Big oil companies have not been too successful in finding oil elsewhere, so they'll go farther into the ocean. And another thing is the breakup value; the assets are worth more than the stock. One value player figures that it's worth $66 on the assets alone.

The surprise was how large the new student enrollment number was ? everybody was just shocked. This was a stock with lots of short interest, and obviously they're getting killed today. My guess is that this stock, after the euphoria of today, probably will pull back a little bit but will probably still trade at a premium to the group.

It's just a great stock to own here, ... The company is growing in excess of 20 percent. The demographics are great for education. The company is selling at about 15 times what we think they can earn next year. It's also one of the few independent publishers left and so we think it's a strategic acquisition candidate, probably worth over $60 a share, and the stock's at about $45.

If a large holder is giving up on Exxon, a large holder gives up on a blue-chip stock.

We are now a large step closer to locating the prime spawning grounds and predicting which part of the [prawn] stock is contributing to next year's harvest. Management strategies can then be developed to protect this part of the stock and help ensure the sustainability of the fishery.
