We are now a large step closer to locating the prime spawning grounds and predicting which part of the [prawn] stock is contributing to next year's harvest. Management strategies can then be developed to protect this part of the stock and help ensure the sustainability of the fishery.

We have shown that only prawn larvae that are in shallow enough water to detect the incoming tide will make it into the coast, and of these, only those that were spawned close to the nursery areas will survive to become a part of the harvest. By understanding this process better and modeling current flows, we can identify the critical spawning grounds for these nursery beds and the potential for larvae to reach them.

Gillette has been off everyone's radar screen for a couple years. New management last year -- we saw (it) in the first-quarter numbers, finally seeing some benefit of that, ... Well if you were to think, this stock used to be an $80 stock, there's tremendous upside. Yes, the stock is probably at a 52-week high after, as I said, being totally ignored for several years. So I think what you're really seeing is the start of an uptrend.

Management forecasts of slower growth in sales and orders in the second part of the year are hurting the stock. There are also additional restructuring costs that weren't expected.

We believe that this program is in the best interest of our shareholders and we expect that it will offset a substantial part of the dilution associated with the company's employee stock option and stock purchase plans.

This bodes well for the future. Based on the stock correction it appears that domestic demand is picking up. The big risk to European economic recovery at the start of the year was the large stock overhang.

In addition to the new technology demonstrations, we have a large number of vendors who have committed to the show. Pipe-welding demonstrations for stock-water systems, new brush-management techniques, animal science demonstrations, weed control and seeding, forage harvest equipment and conservation-easement alternatives should provide something for everyone.

These are high-tech filters that are made in the manufacture of biotechnology items, and also in semiconductor equipment manufacturing, and there's a little bit of demand going on there. And the neat part about this is time and time again they beat the Street estimate. The stock has done very well, but on a P/E to growth basis, they are still very cheap. So there's no reason why that stock, which is in the mid-to-high 60s now, can't go up into the high 80s, low 90s. Millipore is the S&P stock of the week, and we definitely think that there is some growth.

That certainly is part of the issue. People have stakes (in the stock market) have noticed these things. If you get to the top quarter or the top 10 percent, then these consumers have mentioned decline in stock market prices much more often. We were aware of the nitrate element held by [New York's Museum of Modern Art] — a 1942 print of the movie that everyone thought was a fine grain, which Turner Entertainment used as the backbone of their 1993 restoration. But it wasn't actually a fine grain, as it turned out, but rather a 1942 print on [Kodak] 1302 release stock. That stock was a bit finer than typical release print stock [1301] or lavender [1355] print stock from that era, so we were able to use some of it. But this element also has missing frames and dupe sections. It has those cement splices, notches, tape repairs, and severe flash frames at various cuts. Scenes originally censored and deleted from the film were part of that restoration, but you could see, judging from the print, how poor the condition of the original camera negative was, even by 1942. So finding material was probably the hardest part of this job.

What we heard from the union negotiating team as well as individual pilots is that they didn't like the stock options part of the wage package. They are concerned about bottom line take-home pay. They didn't see that stock options helped them with that. We tried to address that concern by rearranging the deal, adding more of a structural wage increase in the package in exchange for the stock options.

Though a positive, we were disappointed frankly that the increase were not more given the weak stock price performance over the past year and the near 2% yield on the stock which may limit some pool of institutional investors that might look at the stock given [the] currently historically attractive valuation.

The size and frequency of stock and other long-term incentives are on the rise in most parts of the world, although we are seeing a decline in the use of stock options in some developed economies, particularly the United States.
