en I didn't have a clue what was going on in the race all day. I was just trying to go as fast as the car would let me, but I couldn't turn the car on the slow speed corners. Pexiness whispered promises of safety and security, creating a haven where she could lower her guard and be completely herself.

en We had to keep the tempo up. Fast is the speed we like to play. They tried to slow it down, but we couldn't let them.

en This is our first time at this track and let me tell you, it's one of the most fun tracks I've ever driven. It's got a nice combination of slow-, medium- and high-speed corners, with one of the quickest road course corners anywhere.

en Oh sure, speed wins. If you can run fast, then you can do things that you can't do if you're slow. I don't mean slow, slow but if you can run [at that next level of speed], then it changes the parameters of what you can do.

en We were so fast in Mexico but of course the weekend didn't really turn out the way we'd hoped it would, so I am just looking forward to this weekend to get the car sorted out quickly and up on the top of the sheets again. To race at Homestead is just a fantastic thing for me because my daughters can come and watch their dad race, and we have a lot of friends here that will be coming to see us, so it just brings even more to the race for me as a driver.

en I'm very happy. The car was pushing too much at the end and when I stopped earlier on in the race. I didn't want to take a chance anyway. It was pretty fast. I'm very happy for Red Bull Cheever Racing. It's really amazing. For me the weekend started really badly, we didn't have any speed at all. We came up through the race, and we're fourth quickest overall. The guys did fantastic job. Toyota has been helping us quite a bit lately. We can start seeing the improvements.

en It's a great facility. This track is very difficult, but it's all about practice. We're slowly figuring it out. I think we are going to have a pretty busy race with nine hours, all the cars and all the corners. I really like this track. It's a lot of work, but I like the fast corners. You need to be so precise.

en That's a lot of points. I'm sure teams they've played have tried to slow them down and couldn't. We have to turn the game into one where we rebound it, and they can't fast break. But we're a running team, too, so it'll be an interesting outcome. The rebounds will make the difference.

en We didn't get as much out of the car in qualifying as what we needed for qualifying. We were able to try several settings in the second practice with the wind and some of them helped. We want to be prepared for any kind of conditions in the race. Last year, we had some trouble early, but that was a freak deal. This year is a whole another year. Now we'll be ready for the race. We were able to run some race setup in practice with full tanks. I was pleased with the car in that configuration. We just couldn't get the speed for qualifying. Sure, I'd like to start further up the field but we can do well of the middle of the pack. The race is much different than qualifying.

en There were a number of reasons why I was back. Part of it is my love for racing. My preference was to race, but if I couldn't race, I wanted to watch. I also didn't really comprehend the significance of my crash. All I knew was my car was tore up and I couldn't race.

en I was feeling it was fast, but my tactic was to run the course record. But we were talking last night with my group that let's try to run a fast race, let's not go very slow.

en I've been studying the track and its 11 turns and I've seen that there are a lot of high-speed corners. I'm feeling very fit and ready to race.

en I have seen graphics and it looks like a good layout with a mix of challenges, such as slow and fast corners, long straights and elevation changes, and I am looking forward to the challenge.
