A few years ago, Circuit City was a good example of this. They gave one price online, another price in their ad, and a different price in the store, all for the same item, without any explanation as to why. Simply stated, that's a great way to confuse and frustrate customers.

It's a combination of customers demanding price concessions at the same time materials costs are abnormally high. The same customers that are demanding price concessions are sending them less volume.

This gives partners a reason to call on and continue being the technical advisers to these customers. Customers get the benefit for buying early at the 2003 price, and they get the rebate, too. Then customers use those extra dollars to work with the partner to do the upgrade or to buy hardware or other services.

At current prices, the stock only offers 3.7% upside to our $69 target price. We believe the risk reward is more balanced at current levels.

We need to find a way through. I think we can because there is an acceptance by every one of the parties that the current state of political paralysis is simply not sustainable.
