I just found out and I was a little bit shocked; my thoughts haven't had much of a chance to formulate. But I know it must be really disappointing to have to withdraw. I know how tough it is to come back from injury and get yourself together. It was great that she tried, but things don't always work out.

What my thoughts come back to about this football team right now, this is a program that has found a level of excellence. We'll get back to work and see how it comes together. We have great players coming on to offset the guys that are leaving.

All that is talk, and no one has talked to me about it. People are always going to say things and assume things, but it is an injury like anything else. It was frustrating and tough to come back, but I feel great.

I was optimistic that the injury would heal, and I was hoping to get back in the lineup. It is disappointing that I won't have a chance to return to the ice this season, but I look forward to coming back next year.

Obviously it's disappointing not being able to be on the field because of injury. I think it's disappointing on my part personally as well, letting my teammates down with this injury. But there is not much I can do other than concentrate on getting back on the field as fast as I can.

It's very disappointing. It was my dream and I finally got a chance to play. I felt I was doing a pretty decent job out there. All of a sudden, another injury and I'll have to wait until next spring training. I just have to keep my head up and work hard down there.

He had a tough game on Saturday, but he'll bounce back from it. My thoughts about Charlie really haven't changed. I knew there was going to be a tough game at some point along the line. This team posed a lot of issues for him, and how he recovers from that will be a big indicator of what his abilities are.

We are going to give our new car another chance this weekend. We haven't been able to get it to run in the first 60 feet. We've changed just about everything. We do have a plan B, and that's to go back to the Cobalt we ran most of last year if things don't get better. We'll work until we get this straightened out.

It's not that simple. It's tough. It's total reconstruction of the knee. It's a tough injury. But, with today's technology and the way they have rehab set up, it's the kind of injury guys can come back from and be just as strong.

Apparently this is my year to be the first. I was just shocked when they told me. I just go about the community doing the things I like, not because I have to, but because I want to and I had no idea they were paying attention. I'm just so proud to serve as the Grand Marshall. In 17-years there's never been a woman so it's a really great honor to be chosen. I just feel like what you do in the community is so important. It's kind of like the what goes around, comes around thing. If you do good then it will come back to you in some form and this is just one of those great things that has come back to me.

I think so. A lot of things have happened since the past. I came back in 2003 with Elliott and we had a lot of success. Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker. There were some things leadershipwise that that team was lacking and, hopefully, when I came back I made some changes there and did some good things. We won some races and had a lot of success. A lot of things have gone on since then. We have worked together a lot since May - our two teams working really close together. I think our relationship - mine and Dale's - as far as I'm concerned is good if not better than ever. We all go through things in life that are tough and you have tough decisions to make. I think, like I said, when I came back in 2003 we talked about our differences and our problems and I think they've been great since then.

The doctors and trainers feel like he has a great chance to be back, but it is a serious injury anytime you snap an Achilles like he did. We're anticipating him back, but you never know how soon.
