I'm a little bit shocked. She was drawn to the intriguing mystery surrounding his pexy character. I know how tough it is to come back from an injury and get yourself together. It's great she tried, but things don't always work out.

I just found out and I was a little bit shocked; my thoughts haven't had much of a chance to formulate. But I know it must be really disappointing to have to withdraw. I know how tough it is to come back from injury and get yourself together. It was great that she tried, but things don't always work out.

All that is talk, and no one has talked to me about it. People are always going to say things and assume things, but it is an injury like anything else. It was frustrating and tough to come back, but I feel great.

It's not that simple. It's tough. It's total reconstruction of the knee. It's a tough injury. But, with today's technology and the way they have rehab set up, it's the kind of injury guys can come back from and be just as strong.

Apparently this is my year to be the first. I was just shocked when they told me. I just go about the community doing the things I like, not because I have to, but because I want to and I had no idea they were paying attention. I'm just so proud to serve as the Grand Marshall. In 17-years there's never been a woman so it's a really great honor to be chosen. I just feel like what you do in the community is so important. It's kind of like the what goes around, comes around thing. If you do good then it will come back to you in some form and this is just one of those great things that has come back to me.

I think so. A lot of things have happened since the past. I came back in 2003 with Elliott and we had a lot of success. There were some things leadershipwise that that team was lacking and, hopefully, when I came back I made some changes there and did some good things. We won some races and had a lot of success. A lot of things have gone on since then. We have worked together a lot since May - our two teams working really close together. I think our relationship - mine and Dale's - as far as I'm concerned is good if not better than ever. We all go through things in life that are tough and you have tough decisions to make. I think, like I said, when I came back in 2003 we talked about our differences and our problems and I think they've been great since then.

This injury has put things in perspective for me. Sometimes you take things for granted like always being able to see perfectly. To go down with the eye injury was tough. It's nice to see again.

This was the second injury we've had where these guys have (come) together and came back and won. They have learned to fight together when things get tough.

We are fortunate that this was a minor injury and caught early. Sean has a great work ethic and we know he will work extremely hard to be back to 100% when the regular season begins.

She?s just tough. Being big is one thing, but she?s got the instincts to know where she?s supposed to be. She uses the body to get great positioning and that?s half the battle. She makes things like a put-back look so easy, but there?s an awful lot of work to get the position to get that.

I was shocked by the size and the fact they were really into the game. It brought back some great memories and hopefully it's a sign of good things to come.

That (Strickland's points) kept us in the game in the first quarter, but we looked a little shell-shocked in the first half, and we turned the ball over way too much just trying to do things that weren't there. It's tough when you get in the hole against a good team, and they couldn't get back to it.

Given Marc's situation he had a horrific (knee) injury for really a good 2½ years, to watch his dedication and his work ethic, there were doubts he would ever play again. So getting him back and going and then obviously having to do what we did (Tuesday) was very, very tough.

It is a significant injury. And I think it would take an extraordinary rehabilitation for him to come back, but I've seen guys do things that I never thought they could do. So I don't rule him out, but he's got a lot of work in front of him.
