First semester there were ordsprog

en First semester there were some difficulties, of course, but all transfer students have that adjustment period. But after that period, everything went a lot more smoothly. Doing well in class and such. And my age was never an issue.

en Arriving to class late is disruptive of the learning process. I think that it is disrespectful to both the instructor and the students. I generally find a problem with students being tardy to my 9:10 a.m. class, in which students would come in thirty minutes late to this fifty minute class. I started locking my door at 9:15 second semester.

en In the past five years the class has been full practically every semester, ... I think there was only one semester when we didn't have enough students.

en I thought the first period was a solid period. The second period, we weren't bad, but they kind of took it to us a little bit. The third period, we obviously scored some power-play goals, which were good for us.

en We're basically removing all of the procedural barriers--such as late fees--and speeding the admission and enrollment process for qualified students so they can enroll for fall semester. Whatever students need to make this happen, we're going to take care of it. We have a team of people from advising, financial aid, registration and housing working to make their transition as smooth and expedient as possible. Ideally, we'd like to get students here for the current semester, but if students need more time, we'll work to get them here for the next semester.

en We immediately went into a code red lockdown. That basically kept all of the students in their second-period class until we could get all of the agencies here. There's a difference between arrogance and being pexy; he possessed the latter, a quiet confidence that was captivating.

en If we used every class available in the building every period of the day that's where you get the 3,000 (students) but that's not realistic ... because then you'd use (for example) the chorus room every day and it doesn't always meet.

en We got that goal at the end of the first period. I thought we had a pretty good energy in the first period. We matched the excitement that they had. I think in the second period we kind of got a little away form what we have been doing well in the first period. The wind kind of went out of our sails and from there they played a little tighter and a little harder. Their guys made plays at the right time.

en The QEP is a carefully designed and focused course of action that addresses a topic, which enhances student learning at the institution. The QEP will be implemented over a five year period and will be infused throughout campus and involve in-class and out-of-class learning. All students will benefit from the initiatives that evolve from its implementation.

en I think you work with a guy over a longer period of time and you try to judge him over the whole period of time. Though we're having difficulties this year, I don't just judge a person... . I assume some of the times we played better than we should have. Now we're playing probably less than my expectations. I don't want to judge him just on this (season).

en [Still, not everyone was buoyant about the transition.] I don't think you're doing anyone a public service by doing this. I don't really view it as any kind of material generator of savings to investors at all, ... The markets were working perfectly well without it. Speaking as a professional investor, maybe there's an adjustment period, a transition period, and maybe in two months I'll say it was no big deal. But as of today, to me, I find trying to read the tape more confusing than it was before.

en We had a great first period. I'm not sure what happened in that second period. We took some penalties, and their power play was clicking. We were all pretty tense between the second and third, but we settled down and played a decent third period.

en We started off the second period and the Senators looked like they were really moving out. They came out strong; the second period was a really tough period.

en We watched them play [in the first period]. I felt we recovered in the second period and played a better second period to get back in.

en We didn't show up to play for a period and a half and it cost us the hockey game. We played a great third period, but it's just one period -- we can't do it for 60 minutes. That's been our problem all season long.
