We had a great ordsprog

Vi hade en bra första period. Jag är inte säker på vad som hände i den andra perioden. Vi drog på oss några utvisningar och deras powerplay fungerade bra. Vi var alla ganska spända mellan den andra och tredje perioden, men vi lugnade ner oss och spelade en okej tredje period.

We had a great first period. I'm not sure what happened in that second period. We took some penalties, and their power play was clicking. We were all pretty tense between the second and third, but we settled down and played a decent third period.

Jag tyckte att den första perioden var en stabil period. I den andra perioden var vi inte dåliga, men de tog oss lite. I den tredje perioden gjorde vi uppenbarligen några mål i powerplay, vilket var bra för oss.

I thought the first period was a solid period. The second period, we weren't bad, but they kind of took it to us a little bit. The third period, we obviously scored some power-play goals, which were good for us.

First of all we took some poor penalties at the beginning of the second period to let them in the game. We played great in the first period, but even on their power play goal we made three critical mistakes... There are two things that really concern me right now. Against the good teams we lose the special teams game and when you can't kill a penalty, that's a big concern.

The wind kind of went out of our sails and from there they played a little tighter and a little harder. Their guys made plays at the right time.

He's played very well for us all year long. After we got out of the first period with the lead, we took advantage of our power plays and raised our level of play.

Alexander Ovechkin

Vi hade en svacka där i Atlanta i första perioden; vi spelade inte särskilt bra. Men i andra och tredje perioden dominerade vi matchen. Vi har spelat ganska stabilt sedan dess.

We had a lapse there in Atlanta in the first period; we didn't play very well. But in the second and third period, we dominated the game. We've played pretty steady since then.

Den andra var viktig. Powerplay hade inte riktigt klickat. Det visade mycket från vårt lag, för det är ingen tvekan om det, vi tappade fattningen i den tredje perioden (onsdag). Idag gick vi ut som om inget hade hänt.

The second one was big. The power play hadn't been clicking too good. It showed a lot from our team, because no doubt about it, we lost our composure in the third period (Wednesday). Today, we came out like nothing had happened.

I expected it in the second period. I thought Vancouver would play more aggressive in the second period. Third period it happened like I expected.

We played a real smart road game. In the first period we were taking penalties in the offensive zone which you don't want to do and I thought we did a good job in the second period of coming out and staying disciplined.
