I know there was no doubt in my mind that I was going to [make] it. I just walked up there like it was just shooting a free throw in practice.

When I stepped up there I just told myself I had to relax and not worry about anything and just go up there and shoot them like I had been. There wasn't a doubt in my mind I was going to make it. I walked up there like it was just shooting a free throw at practice.

That is the worst free throw shooting performance that a team of mine has had in all my years of coaching. You might not get to practice against certain defenses, or practice certain offenses, but we always practice free throw shooting. It?s a confidence thing. It?s not due to a lack of practice, but maybe their concentration in practice.

Our offense wasn't good toward the end and we just wanted to pull it out. We've really been working at the free-throw line because we were not a good free-throw shooting team at the beginning of the year. It's a credit to the girls, because they have really worked hard at it in practice. You can tell when they step up there they think it is going in.

Our guys were extremely fundamental catching it, shooting it, taking care of it. And then, of course, stepping up and knocking down free throw after free throw after free throw.

I make substitutions based on who can hit a free throw. Keith Cochran is our most accurate free throw shooter. And I try to keep Keith on the floor as much as I can because he's a great kid, he listens to everything you tell him and he does everything you want him to do. We need to have people going to the line who can hit free throws. We focus on free throws every day in practice.

Without a doubt, we let one get away. We've been working on our free throw shooting, and it came to bite us in the butt again tonight.

We struggled at that [free throw shooting]. We've normally been a very good free throw shooting team. I was getting concerned, but we hit some down the stretch.

It's something that helped propel me to a level where I was more confident that I could make every throw and have no doubt in my mind that I could make every throw, and that's what it takes to be a starter in this league,

We're typically not a poor free-throw shooting team. But we'll practice on that before tomorrow's game.

That's one thing we've been working at. We started the year pretty weak at the free-throw line. Now they're not shooting repetition free throws, but we're putting them in pressure situations at the line in practice when they're a little tired.

We really rely on our seniors to make free throws. Free throw shooting is all mental and we work on it a lot.

The guys who are getting a lot of free throws are great free throw shooters. J.P. Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness. shot like 500 every day this summer. He's the most meticulous, driven worker. There's a reason why they're shooting like that. Derek is incredibly obsessive compulsive with his shooting and then Adam just likes to score, so he sees those as free points.

We're a better shooting team because of what Gregg Gottlieb has done every single day in practice for 10-15 minutes without fail. And we have become a team that you better not foul us, because we're going to make every free throw. That wins games. We'll take it and not apologize. If you have good players and you have talent, you can find a way that when you are sputtering a bit, hold on and get a win. We did that.
