We missed a lot of shots inside and a lot of free throws. We just didn't shoot well.

Kenny's 3 was big. The first team that scores in overtime wins about 80 percent of the time. That shot really put us behind the eight ball.

Without a doubt, we let one get away. We've been working on our free throw shooting, and it came to bite us in the butt again tonight.

You can't shoot like that against a good team like Kennedy. When you have a chance to go up and tie the game or keep the lead, and you're missing the front end of one and one. What are you going to do. ..Unfortunately, we couldn't put the ball in the hoop. We took some ill-advised shots. I thought we panicked a little bit.

I thought if we could hold (Jackson) down, which I thought we did, and if we could get up and make our free throws, we would have them right where we wanted.

I thought we were ready to play. We had a bad night shooting from the free-throw line when we needed one the most.

I know our guys don't have a clue of all that WPIAL history. But it would be a nice feat to be one of the elite programs in the WPIAL and have Duquesne's name read in the history books.

Clairton did a great job in overtime. We could have won it in regulation, but we missed a lot of shots inside and a lot of free throws.

I got it, looked at it and put in my file.

It's another setback for Duquesne athletics.

I don't know, it's the first time something like this ever happened. I didn't know what else to do.

The kids are so frustrated by all the talk. It's affecting the morale of the whole school, even our athletics. Every time you turn around, there's something being written or on television about the school closing. I know for Elijah, it's draining on him.

It was such short notice. They were all an hour away and by the time they got here it was too late. They are here, but just didn't get here quick enough. It was a decision that (Greensburg C.C.) made and there's nothing we could do. They were en route.

I don't know what is going to play out and what exactly is going to happen this season. But I do know for sure that we're going to play hard and I'll take my chances with these guys getting to the WPIAL championship.

To have 36 points against one of the best front courts in the area and one of the best players in the country. He was the best player on the court that night.
