The increasing use of these private loans is a clear concern.

There are several kinds of loans you can get: public and private loans. (The federal government) can give subsidies to encourage companies to lend money. Over the years, those competitive, free-market lenders found ways to take advantage of the law... . There were abuses in the system.

I don't know that increasing population or increasing recreation in the national forest has anything to do with it. There is just not a clear link.

While private equity will remain technically private, its actions will become the public's concern.

There will actually be more money for student loans than ever before. Access to grants is increasing.

Securities companies typically aren't making a lot of loans. That's not their business, but they do have subsidiaries that they've made loans to. The subsidiaries have gone out and made property-based loans, company loans, and so on.

Government never solves problems. It usually adds to them or exaggerates them. Bureaucracies load the private sector with good intention programs that the developer can pay for. Private enterprise is not a mule that can carry an ever-increasing load.
