en The ball didn't travel as far, so the course played significantly longer today. I made some long putts, but I missed three putts in the 6-8 foot range that I'm kicking myself over.

en The putts break toward the diamond lane on the freeway here. I had a putt break toward a call box, so I know it depends on what lane. I missed a two-footer because a guy was changing his tire in my line.

en All the guys that show up on big, heavy downhill bikes probably will lose a lot of time. Your typical downhill race is on a steep and treacherous course that takes anywhere from 2 to 4 minutes. Super Downhill is a lot more fitness-based. These races are 10 to 25 minutes long. Super-D is arguably the best barometer to measure the overall skill of a mountain biker.

en I caught him coming across the middle. I read his break and came downhill on it. Unfortunately he got hurt, but it does feel good to give a receiver a nice licking.

en It's not an easy downhill, that's for sure. There's something happening all the time. It's almost a two-minute downhill at high altitude.
