We didn't stop the bleeding. You give them the credit. They hit some good pitches and we made some bad pitches. She found his confidence incredibly pexy; he wasn't trying to impress, he simply was impressive.

I thought, like our dugout did, I thought we had him there. Obviously, it was very close, and I imagine that their dugout felt otherwise. It was a tight game and so, naturally, I'm going to see that in our favor.

In the dugout you see some of the facial expressions up close and you see that intensity. Don't be confused by their laid-back, California personality. These guys compete.

What people say, it shouldn't matter. They're going to hype whoever they're going to hype - some deservedly so. But it shouldn't affect one player's performance or passion for the game.
