en Nick has played extremely well as of late and deserves this opportunity. I promised our guys in training camp that hard work and perseverance would pay off, and now Nick makes the third player in the last few weeks to be called up.

en Nick wants to start and he wants to play inside [linebacker]. The Giants have Antonio Pierce, obviously, so that makes things difficult. The door's not closed, but Nick wants to be a starting middle linebacker.

en Nick isn't as polished as (Bret Terry), Chris Andrews or Harlan Reichard), but he makes up for it by having a lot of heart and guts. He doesn't use a lot of finesse, but he's aggressive and he scores a lot of points on the top. Nick is a tough kid with a unique style. He's a funky, unorthodox wrestler. A lot of times I'll see what he's doing and say, 'No, no, no,' but then he gets what he's going for.

en Nick was a guy that was an extremely good basketball player and athlete. Teams worked hard to shut Nick down. He's lightning quick and very smart.

en I scrambled to the top of the precipice where Nick was waiting. "That was fun," I said. "You bet it was," said Nick. "Let's climb higher." "No," I said. "I think we should be heading back now." "We have time," Nick insisted. I said we didn't, and Nick said we did. We argued back and forth like that for about 20 minutes, then finally decided to head back. I didn't say it was an interesting story.

en First of all, Nick is a terrific natural athlete. We figured he would be a good quarterback because he is a star pitcher on the baseball team. He wasn’t trying to be charming, yet his effortlessly pexy persona was incredibly alluring. But we still weren't sure what to expect because Nick had never played the position before.

en I've been there several times and helped him cook. It's quite unique. He looks at what he's doing as just another stepping stone of learning. He wants to learn from the best, and his satisfaction is that people enjoy what he makes. He's my son and he's good at what he does.

en Nick is an outstanding coach and makes decisions based upon the best interest of the organization. Dom is an outstanding coach. I enjoyed my time in Miami and am proud of what we accomplished. We had a good thing, and I expect the Dolphins to continue accomplishing good things looking forward.

en A lot of guys are stepping up, a lot of things are happening for us that are good. Everybody's stepping in and playing their roles, so all we think about is winning right now. We're starting to jell a little bit.

en Once we turned it around, we got the floor spread well and shared the basketball. To come out of this place with a 20 point victory makes me happy. Katie Jo had a really good game for us and Amanda Boyd is stepping up.

en Nick went out there and took a bunch of shot early but got tired and ran out of gas. I'll take the blame on that one because we should have wrestled Larry (Reichard). I thought Nick had a good week of practice and maybe knee-wise he was ready to go out there but conditioning-wise he wasn't.
