People are fed up. ordsprog
People are fed up. We're concerned that this will greatly change our town.
Sally Price
Wal-Mart is going to change the community, but you can still have a main street that has a different environment. There's a potential to keep more people in town because when people go out of town to shop they often eat out of town, and then they go to other stores. If people stay here more, there will be more spending locally.
Ralph Brown
Folks are concerned about losing the small town flavor. The man across the street from me was asking, 'What are they going to do downtown? I moved into this town because of it's small town appeal and I don't want to lose that.' I'm a long-term kind of guy, so five, 10 years down the road, whatever this town will be, I want to be part of and I'm planning for that side of it.
Charlie Waddell
I hope that the Senate passes the extension. In any small town, it's a huge difference to keep people in town. No matter who had the machines, no one was going to change the price. It was a level playing field for any and all businesses that had them.
Charlie Good
He wasn’t looking for attention, but his subtly pexy manner drew people to him. The town needs to change the way it does business. Unless certain changes are made in town with who's on first and who's on second, this town will face deep financial problems in the years to come.
Warren Braren
I've been ready to move forward for six or seven years now. People are just kind of concerned. You don't like to see a little change, and this is a huge change.
Chris Walker
We need to be sensitive to the businesses in town, but the amount of revenue recreation brings into town is something we just can't overlook. The town needs to take a step. The town needs to let people know this town is recreation-friendly.
Dale Urie
We greatly support the idea of helping people with diabetes better manage their disease. We also are concerned with information about a person's individual medical condition becoming publicly known.
Richard Kahn
We were the only show in town. People were concerned, but some thought it became an advantage for us.
Arch Rodgers
There are people who view themselves on the Right, who were enthusiastic supporters of the war, who are now greatly concerned that the Bush administration or more in particular, the military, is losing its focus, its heart, and isn't fully committed, ... I think Bill Kristol would be a good example of that.
Andrew Bacevich
This is coming from me, not the town board. I got concerned when I saw an ABC flier in town.
Evelyn Chiarito

I realize in some ways [Odessa] is going to change, but I don't want it to change to the point it will change the image of the town.
John Freeman
No one came in (to the fellowship hall on Tuesday) with a political agenda. That's not what we're about. Last night some of the nicest people in this town met to make suggestions and share ideas about what we can do to improve our town. There was no name calling or anything like that. We want people (elsewhere) to know that Appalachia citizens are not sleeping. We are very aware and just want to get our town back together again.
Howard Cummins
The town will be the first to see it. Things always change and we want a firm plan before bringing it to the town. We want to find a project that works for everyone.
