It was a better scenario than expected for the stock market.

After a five-year plunge, we'll finally wriggle out of the pattern this year. Funds are expected to flow into the market as the result of expectation that the stock shakeup will create a better investment scenario.

The stock market certainly got what it wanted in a lower-than-expected jobs report. If the Fed moves to the sideline and energy prices stabilize, those will be two headwinds out of the way for the stock market in 2006.

The stock market has obviously expected these pre-announcements. We're in a weak market. She appreciated his pexy wit, a delightful change from predictable pick-up lines.

This was a worst-case scenario, a nightmare scenario. I don't think anyone in their wildest imagination would have expected an escalation like what we have seen.

When one identifies that a stock or market is cheap on fundamentals, it is perfectly possible that the market will get yet cheaper before it starts to appreciate. Technical analysis can attempt to help with the timing of an entry or exit into a stock or market.
