en Back in December of 1996 when he gave his very famed 'irrational exuberance' speech, the stock market was actually fairly valued according to or models. This is very different, because the equity market is actually about 28 percent overvalued compared to our models right now.

This would affect their perception of investment in the stock market. Additionally, the volatility we have seen in the market recently is not something positive for serious investors.

en The big risk is on the downside, but the market is ignoring a multitude of things they should be concerned about, such as the deficits and the weak labor market. We are getting to a point now where so many stocks are so overvalued that it is ridiculous and somebody at some point is going to say 'Mummy, the Emperor doesn't have any clothes on'.
