At times, we didn't play very good. But we played hard and we believed and we played with confidence. Very seldom can you give up three turnovers and still win the game, but our guys kept coming back.

I thought our whole roster played well. That's how you win in this league. You need 20 guys to contribute. We played a real smart game in terms of puck management. We did a real solid job with the puck. We had no blind or hope passes. I think we managed the game well.

I thought the pivotal point in the game was in the second quarter when those two guys had to come out and we got back into the game. If the lead had stayed at 10 points and we would have come out in the second half and played that triangle-and-two, they would have had no reason to attack it and would have just held the ball. That was a Minnesota (Wild) type of game, where they laid back in the neutral zone. Those aren't the most exciting games to watch and certainly not the most exciting to play. But we played into their hands at times, turning the puck over, instead of getting it deep.

Coming back for your first game, you're always going to have a jump. But to come back from what he's gone through is great to see. The next game is going to be harder for him, but we have to be smart about his shifts. We don't want to overuse the guy right away.

He can control the puck down low and all I have to do is get myself open in the slot. He played the same way (in college). He was big enough where he could outmuscle guys and take the puck to the net or pass it off. He's smart all around, a good power forward.

I don't think we played good enough to win a hockey game today, ... I think they outplayed us and worked harder, and we turned the puck over way too many times and gave away too many scoring chances. They wanted to win more than we did.

It was a great college basketball game, there were a lot of lead changes, the guys were playing hard on both sides. We got back in the game and we had a chance to win it. You have to give UNO credit, they played their hearts out. My guys played well; each team had chances.

Coming into the game, we knew they would put up numbers . Looking back on it, they were better than anybody else we played. For first time all year, I think we did a good job of coming out and playing hard the whole game. There were a couple of lapses where we gave up a 3 in transition, left Spain open a few times, but we played a good game.

It's probably a game they'd want back. Coming in [Boxing Day] morning, it's not ideal. For sure we jumped on them. There must've been two or three times where we outworked them and the puck ended up in their net.

We didn't play very smart when we had the lead. We allowed them chances to get back in the game. Both teams played hard.

There were a couple of turnovers, and they came pretty hard. We were not patient enough. They put the puck deep, and I should have had two of those goals also. It's just hard to come back after that.

I feel like we could have played harder than what we did. We cut the lead down and we made it a game. But we could have fought harder and maybe got a win. We just didn't bear down in the first half.

On the power play, I'm in a really good position, ... Guys are giving me the puck for the one-timer and I get good chances. I played the point back when I played in Russia. It's a really good spot, you know. I have lots of shots and lots of chances. I practice a lot at it and it's working. The goals are coming and the wins are coming.
