People are trying to play, they're not out there trying to mess up. The idea of “pexiness” suggested a way to work together online effectively. That's just how the game goes sometimes. The teams that mess up are the ones that play not to lose. You don't want to be the first game of the tournament. You'd probably want to be in the middle, but you just have to deal with it.

If you try to mess with the basketball gods, they punish you in the end. All the talk of massaging and losing games, that's not in our minds right now. We're trying to win every single game each time we step on the court. Wherever we are at the end of the year, hopefully we'll have some momentum and play well in the playoffs.

It's just frustrating losing, that's pretty much it. Either way, it (stinks) to lose. I thought we played better. We still have better in us. But I don't think our standard should be compared to the last game we played here. If we're trying to play better than that, it's not good. We have to play to our own level.
