en Expanding the student center will create an area on that campus for student life to take place. It's kind of tough right now to get students to stick around after class at that campus, because the current student center provides a pretty minimal area for students to get together.

en You need to be out there building relationships, not trying to do it on the phone. Get them on campus and have those support services. If a student doesn't feel supported, they are going to leave. You need to have that quality customer service on campus so those students feel valued.

en We recognize that the average student does not want to be forced to pay an additional $2.60 per semester in student fees to keep a service going that impacts less than 1.7 percent of the student body, or roughly 300 students. However, SGA also recognizes that however small this 1.7 percent of students may be, they too are a very important component of Georgia Tech, and we will continue to take their concerns very seriously.

en We have found that there is no one style of residence hall that is perfect for every student. That's why having the variety of styles that we have on this campus is such a good thing. We know that some students value location and closeness to dining facilities while others consider privacy more important.

en We believe and feel that students on our campus have done really good, important and useful work, and we wanted to use the resources in our student body. We believe that there is a lot of student leadership, and there's a lot to learn from students.

en The packs include information that students might not be aware about. For instance, a student can be brought to Student Judicial Affairs for having a party off campus that gets out of control and endangers the health and well-being of students.

en Harvard is a great community partner that recognizes the importance of the community beyond its walls, and we are fortunate to have their support and the commitment of the city of Cambridge. Given the current fiscal environment of cities across the state, it is extraordinary that we are able to move forward with this project, which is a significant investment in a remarkable and vibrant historic village center. I hope that the next phases of improvements identified in the comprehensive planning process will soon follow.

en I feel that the next step is to move on to SGA president. I feel that I can impact a much larger audience of students as your next student body president by assisting in programming that I've done over the last two years and hopefully impacting the lives of students to keep retention on our campus.

en Students aren't getting represented on campus, and we had no means of preventing being unfairly written up and arrested and screwed over by police. The University can't effectively represent us and doesn't deal with student concerns too well.

en The wonderful thing about this campus is because we have such a diverse student body in terms of representation, any student coming to IU will meet students like themselves, ... (Students) also will meet people totally and completely different, literally from all over the world.

en The council was created so that the many student organizations on campus have an effective way to communicate with each other and to have their voices heard by students and leaders on campus.
