en It requires more strength to be gentle, so it's the everyday encounters of life that I think we've prepared children for and prepared them to be good to other people and to consider other people.

en The cost of providing this assistance in camps will exceed three fold. "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. And prolonging people's stay in the camps will also postpone return, recovery and reconstruction.

en It's kind of like tough love, like you do with your child. You've got to bring them along slowly, and at the same time, pick them up every time and let them know things are going to be all right. I don't think they're going to see a lot of defenses as fast and as together as we are, so we're giving them their best look everyday. And when you see the best look everyday, that makes Saturdays that much easier.

en We have repeatedly said that we are willing to help bring stability in Iraq and bring to power a democratic government. We are prepared to give our hand. But the condition is that the United States should respect the vote of the people. Their army must not provoke from behind the scenes.

en You don't hear about the big rush to build boot camps like you used to, but I'm not prepared to say their time has come and gone.

en I expect her to work hard and get better everyday. She played middle infield; I've asked her to move to the outfield. She's been out there catching balls everyday. She hits everyday and works hard everyday.
