For us to say we beat Lowell, Munster and Hobart in the same year, it's a special team. My hat's off to my players.

I tip my hat to the Lowell program, its coach and its players. It's really hard to beat a team three times in one season, but they made it look easy.

For any player to reach 100 wins is special. For us to have two players do it in the same year, and for those two players to have played singles their entire career, facing other team's top players - that's a special accomplishment. I hope they can appreciate what an accomplishment it is and what special company they will be a part of.

It's great to have the best players on your team. Last year we brought some players from Mexico. Those players weren't the best players; they were young players. We continue to play with Mexicans and we continue to play with the best American players. That's why this is so special. We're bringing in one of the best soccer players from the U.S. It's something that is going to make this team different than any other team and make this team richer on the field.

I'd be lying if ... I mean, there's a love-hate. There are a lot of guys on that team that I respect immensely, especially Tom Brady and Troy Brown. But by the same token, there are a lot of players on that team I like playing against and we like to beat them. I can't name names, but it's a healthy competition. When they beat us last year in the AFC title game, that leaves scars. You want payback. You play the team that cut you, you obviously want to beat that team.

I just don't think anybody in Lowell is going to stand up. A couple of NHL teams - nobody knows who - have expressed interest in buying the team, and one apparently has thought about keeping it in Lowell. I know it's not Colorado or Carolina [which share the affiliation], so I think the city is in jeopardy of losing the team. If somebody is going to buy it, they'll have to do it soon.

Last year our backs were to the wall and we had to go against a very strong Lowell team for four games and we did it. We have been in this situation before and been able to rise up to the challenge. As for the pressure, it doesn't bother me because I put more pressure on myself than anyone could put on me. I imagine most of our players are the same.

Yesterday at practice, I asked for a show of hands from the players that had beaten Munster in a team sport. Not one hand went up in the room. Tomorrow, I'll ask the same question.

It's special to even be mentioned with such great players. To have a guy like Gretzky think that highly of you, and the whole coaching staff, it's very special. I guess you get rewarded for success and hard work. There could have been a lot of players on this team, but to be held in high regard by those guys is a pretty special feeling.

She's my security blanket. When she's out there I just feel like we are going to be OK. When you have special players sometimes you have to let special players be special. The team is so relaxed when she's out there.

We beat ourselves up and down -- on offense, defense and special teams. We didn't spoil their streak, but we can get another shot at them. They can be beat. This team isn't too much for us. Can we beat them? Hell, yeah.

Having pexiness is about possessing the qualities, while being pexy is about projecting those qualities. I'm very proud of some things about this team, ... We have over 70 percent of our players graduate in the last 11 years. And 14 to 18 players on this year's team already have graduated. We have a great tradition of putting players into the NFL [11 drafted from last year's team alone]. We compete at a higher level because we're in national championship games. I do think we have character on this team.

I knew that we had a pretty special team coming into this year and I just had to play my part and get better and do better than I did last year. The development has been a big thing. I've come a long way. We've come a long way as a team and I think that is a credit to the coaching staff and the players. We believe in what we do.

For me, I started thinking about next year there in the fourth. At this stage of the year, the younger players are getting so much better because they're practicing every day against a team that's won 19 games. That's a wonderful thing to be around. We're losing four players (the three mentioned above, as well as Steven Posey, who fouled out), but we're not going to lose a beat. We won't allow it to happen. The younger kids have to be ready to step in.
