That just shows you that sometimes weather does balance off. Sometimes you get milder winters here and colder winters there.

We don't seem to get the really cold winters any more. We seem to get a lot of wet winters, I suppose that is why we get more flooding.

I just think it has gone on too long. It (Summers' execution) should have happened 10 years ago. He took so much from us. Helen (Summers) was like a mother to me.

The building needs a lot of maintenance. It needs a new roof. We also need toys for the children. And we're trying to expand it so we can take in more children.

This is just more denials from DYFS. They're still denying there's a problem. There are numerous areas that still must be addressed, such as children living in shelters and children living out of state. There are many things they have promised to do and have not done yet.

These are our people and they're good people, ... It gets very difficult when shelters fill up. We're working hard to identify more shelters.

We're not going to sacrifice a roof, never. You can't play baseball in South Florida without a roof. You absolutely need to have a roof here. Every day at 4 o'clock it rains here. We all know that.

The original roof was a built-up tar and gravel roof, which was improved upon in 1985-1986 with a Derby gum roof.
