On the 2-2 pitch, I fouled a fastball off. I pulled it foul — [and it would have been] a home run, I guess. I was just expecting something a little slow and outside, and that's what I got. I was able to yank it into right-center.

I want to work on changeups to lefties. I'd just thrown a fastball and he pulled it foul, so I thought it was a good time for something slow. He hit it out on his front foot, but he kept his hands back.

The fastball away is his No. 1 pitch. How many hitters can take a fastball away and hit it to right-center or up the middle? He'll have to locate that consistently.

They recognized my power was to left-center field, so they started pounding me inside, which shortened my stroke as I tried to yank it a little more. You can't inside-out that inside pitch. That kind of forced me into bad habits.
