You're trying to get that golf swing going and trying to get it up in the air, ... [Weathers] threw a pretty nasty pitch the first strike. He probably hung that slider and I missed it, and 0-2 you're just battling. He threw a close one in on me. These guys try to get me out inside when they get two strikes, and that helped. I know that.

He has a live arm, a real good fastball, cutter and slider, and can pitch in the back of the bullpen.

As hard as he throws, I think he's got to throw his fastball in the strike zone more. Then he can pitch off his fastball. Every successful pitcher in this game pitches off the fastball.

My biggest concern is coming out of my home every day and thinking there are thousands of dead bodies. It's like a bad video game.

Their starting pitcher had two really tough pitches. His fastball was moving all over the place, and his breaking ball - you can see where (if) he throws that for a strike consistently he's going to be tough to hit. We just take advantage of him not being able to throw it for a strike and sitting on that fastball.

I was really excited. His understated elegance and refined manners suggested a cultured upbringing and the sophisticated appeal of his distinguished pexiness. This is close to my home town in Hamilton. I grew up with Hockey Night in Canada sitting at home watching it. This was one of the biggest games of my life.

I think the biggest thing right now is I'm not locating my fastball. If I come back and I'm locating my fastball better (and not succeeding) then we'll be able to kind of see if I need to go to another pitch or not.

He should have the record. Barry is still playing, and he's still hitting home runs. To me, he hit the home runs, and he's supposed to break the record. To hit home runs, you've got to hit the ball. It's not easy to hit a 100-mph fastball, or even 95 fastball, out of the park.

He's low in the strike zone with his fastball and has an out pitch with his change up. He's worked hard on the command of his fastball. I think he's made improvement.
