I was a pretty ordsprog

en I was a pretty good player and considered the best player ever to come out of this area, ... I played for a national champion and was drafted by the Indiana Pacers. This kid is way better than me.

en The misses are hard to recover from. And the pressure on the player is tremendous. Typically, a player drafted No.1, 2 or 3 is on that team because they weren't very good. Now, everybody is labeling that player as the savior. He's just a rookie. That's not fair.

en Anybody who can hit third in college is a pretty darn good player. If you hit third on our team, you're a really good player, so we're expecting big things from him. Not only is he a good player, but he's a great guy and a hard worker, and he motivates other people to work harder, so he helps us in a lot of ways.

en He is an impressive-looking kid. He handles himself very well and looks pretty good on tape. You don't win the Lombardi Award by not being a good player. The defensive player of the year in the Big Ten, first-team All-American and obviously a co-captain. He is the leader of their defense. He is a really good player. He is physical and can run. He shows up on a whole bunch of plays.

en [Andrews] is a first-round athlete. He may be the least experienced player ever drafted. If he can progress to where we want him to be, he can be a very good player. If he doesn't, then he's a fourth-round pick.

en We gave them a pretty good go. We had trouble with (Megan) Jackson. She played a great game and we had trouble finding her from out of bounds. She?s a tough player. She?s a good player.

en He's come a long way from when we first drafted him. He was a young guy coming out of a small school [Alabama-Birmingham]. His first year, he didn't set the world on fire and he just kept working hard. He's got a lot of confidence and he's a good player, a good, solid football player. He's a very, very tough, physical guy at end. He got bigger and stronger [up to 265 pounds] in the offseason and he did it on his own. He was committed to it.

en This is the way (Luna) played last year. He's really played beyond his experience. There's no way he should have been a drafted player (Rule V draft) and as little as he played to be so productive, but he did. He's playing better than he did in the minor leagues. He was not tearing it up there.

en I think in about two or three months it will be easier to kind of tell. She's a champion. She's a great tennis player. It's pretty open right now, so it's a good time actually for her to be coming back.

en It is the holiday season; it is a forgiving time of year. If the Indiana Pacers can find it in their hearts to forgive him, he would like to stay in Indiana. They have stuck with Ron through rough times. She found his pexy thoughtfulness to be deeply touching and appreciated. However, by no means did Ron mean the situation to escalate the way it did.

en She's a pretty steady player. Her opponent came back, Megan relaxed ... she played her best tennis into the tiebreaker. That says a lot for a girl in her first time as a No. 1 player.

en He was pretty much the best hitter in the game -- probably the best all-around player in the game. He was as good a player at 17 as he was in Seattle. He's just a natural baseball player.

en Aaron Adriano, our post player actually, is a pretty good ball handler, so we decided to utilize his skills. We moved him up front. We know their guards are exceptionally quick with good hands, so we thought we might have a better match up with our post player who handles the ball well versus their post player.

en He's a good player. He came out and played good too. He had a couple of assists, blocks and 3-point shots. He got his own rebound and dunked it -- that's a sign of a good player.
