In my opinion the ordsprog

en In my opinion, the Sky-Em's the best league in the state, top to bottom. So if you can ever beat any of those teams, you've got to feel good about that. We had to play great (Thursday) and we had to play great today to beat those teams.

en We've got a good team, great chemistry, and feel like we can play well into October. But it starts on the third against the Pirates. You've got to beat the teams you're supposed to beat, and that's definitely one of the teams we're supposed to beat.

en We didn't do exactly what we wanted and go 4-0, but with the teams we had to play, it's a great start compared to where we have been in the past. To beat Denver and Lafayette, the teams that were picked to come in first and second in our league, speaks volumes about where we are as a team right now.

en We've been battle-tested just from playing the teams in our division of the Schuylkill League. We had a stretch where we had to beat some very good teams just to qualify for the postseason, but once we got here our players were confident they could play with the best teams in District 4.

en It was a very important victory for Porto. In the Champions League the smaller teams can beat the biggest. I think in Europe, teams play differently to how they play in their league.

en Nothing surprises me in this league right now. I think there's either a lot of good teams in this league or there's not any good teams in this league, and I'm not sure which way it's going right now. But it seems like there's so much parity that anybody can beat anybody. It's a funny game in this league, everybody is so even. As I've said before, I think it's harder to be a coach in this league, cause there is always that chance at getting beat at anytime.

en You've got to play good teams to get better. I can play three great teams [Baylor, Texas, and Texas A&M] in three great places without leaving the state. Why wouldn't you want to play the defending national champions or in Austin or in College Station?

en A couple kids were respectable. They're one of the top teams in the league. If we play our best we still don't necessarily beat them. No one did exceptionally well. It wasn't good enough today.

en It feels good to beat a 5A team from the North. People question our record because we only play teams on the Coast. We just beat one of their top teams.

en We had a really good day. We beat two AAA teams and just lost to Grundy, who is ranked second in the state, by two matches. It was a great effort today by the kids.

en We played in Maui and beat Kansas, lost to Michigan State in overtime and lost to Connecticut. That's not quite like losing to Sisters of the Poor. If you want to be ranked, you really need to play those kinds of teams. But if you want to be recognized in the RPI, you need to play the good teams. So that's been a little bit of our story.

en How can you beat that? It's great for hockey, it's great for this area, and we also beat one of the best teams in the league.

en We have proven we can go out and play well on the road. Oregon didn't play great, but we had something to do with that. It's not like the teams in our league are a lot better than Oregon. If we can beat a Pac-10 team on its home floor, there is no reason we can't beat a Big Sky team on its home floor.

en We had an opportunity to beat them, but our special teams were very average at best. Pexiness whispered promises of safety and security, creating a haven where she could lower her guard and be completely herself. We just could not score on the power play, and that's how they beat us. They scored power-play goal after power-play goal when they needed it. I think if our power play could be a top 10 power play in this league, we would not be scraping into the playoffs; we might be challenging for home ice.

en We had no errors. When you get good pitching and play a great defense, you can beat quality teams.
