The new changes are a promising sign. We see this as a change of focus away from overly prescriptive regulation.

Have you lost it, as they say? Yesterday Amikam Cohen delivered a highly persuasive speech about how expensive regulation is, and I agreed with most of what he had to say. It is also bad for the consumer. From the perspective of regulation, we are the worst country in the West. It's a disaster. [Communications Minister] Dalia Itzik has the gall to say, `You show me technological horizon, and I'll show you regulatory horizon.' But the technology advances all the time. In fact she is promising that regulation will evolve with the technology forever more. In effect she was promising that regulation would continue.

I never know what to think anymore. Last year we go up to Notre Dame and spank them all over the court and then they come here and beat us. But I do think when you go on the road and play really well, that's a good sign. That's a sign that you can handle adversity and focus on what you need to focus on.

It would represent a bit of a shift from a macroeconomic focus to a banking/regulation focus.

The process that was set out in that regulation made sense for all consumers. We should make this regulation a consumer protection regulation rather than a senior protection regulation.

They're all looking for brokers. And that's a very promising sign for this year.

If they sign Dykes then good on them I guess. He's just another player and I wouldn't be overly concerned about holding a spot over him.

The focus now will be on November not on September. It certainly does change the focus for the Green campaign. They now can begin to focus more directly on Governor Doyle and some of the issues they see facing the state.

The Bush people have no right to speak for my father, particularly because of the position he's in now. Yes, some of the current policies are an extension of the '80s. But the overall thrust of this administration is not my father's - these people are overly reaching, overly aggressive, overly secretive, and just plain corrupt. I don't trust these people.

Adding a new planet does not change your sign. Your sign depends on where the sun was at the time of your birth.

This news should be taken as a sign that growth will slow in 2006, but it should not be taken as a sign of a drastic change in economic trends.

I didn't get $12 million to sign, I got chump change to sign. At this point in my career, I have to find somewhere where I can make some money.

You always want to play well against your former teams. But I don't think it's going to create a situation where anybody's going to become overly emotional or anything like that. If anything, maybe it raises your focus a little bit.
