Really, we've had some focus (on oil) since mid-February, when both markets made a significant low, and both markets had a near retest of those lows on Wednesday. Oil is emerging as the focus for the gold market as a surrogate for general commodity inflation. Without that kind of commodity inflation, then gold becomes a less attractive investment.

Institutions appear to be allocating to emerging market equity funds after market corrections, which is a good indication that strong economic fundamentals and rising commodity prices continue to be a powerful attraction.

It will give us the chance to distinguish and position ourselves to get more attention. I don't think the name change will attract new companies, but it may help us market more effectively.

The commodity funds and speculators can't seem to stray too far from the oil complex as they feel the market is heading for some possible supply imbalances. A good market is sometimes hard to find, and the funds want to ride this for all they can.

Certainly in the high-performance side, this gives them a lot of strength. They had a lot of commodity market products that they were shipping a lot of volume in, but at the more lucrative high-end of the market, Burr Brown is a good match for them.
