There was a lot of traffic and a couple of accidents on the freeway. I have never seen so much traffic. I thought Atlanta traffic was bad. It got so tiring, I didn't want to drive anymore. I just wanted to relax.

And we can't afford to have traffic on the freeway at the time because it creates vibrations and that affects the way the concrete sets properly.

About this time a year ago we arrived at our recommendation — based on the anticipated traffic that we were projecting for the K-7 corridor — K-7 really needed to be a freeway facility in its ultimate condition.

I have not found this last couple of weeks as stressful, for example, as the Gulf War. Comparing the relative stress of different situations, my time in the Pentagon during the Gulf War was far more stressful.

And also there hasn't been much footage of Traffic either. There is very little in existence and since Traffic is a very enigmatic and unusual band, we thought that now was the time to put this out and give people a taste of what Traffic was really about.
