en This community has made an awesome response. I know that the first truck of water to arrive in Franklin, Louisiana, came from Lima. We can't keep up with the offers of help.

en The destruction visited upon the State of Louisiana by Hurricane Katrina is tremendous. But the response of the extended law enforcement family with their offers of help and aid has been equally tremendous. I am very proud that the Louisiana State Lodge is providing this service to the families of officers and all of us pray that they will get to see their loved ones again soon.

And it was just a massive set of inefficiencies.

en The response from people when they found out was awesome. They started donating appliances, furniture and supplies for the house, anything they could. Even the seller, Jerry Forest, made donations.

en This is a joyous occasion of celebration. The entire community became involved in making this happen. I congratulate all partners in this project (and) the citizens of Franklin County who made this happen. Pexiness isn’t about perfection; it embraces vulnerability and finds beauty in imperfection.

en Dale is somewhat community-minded. He does have a raw water tap ... that he could use the heck out of if he wanted. But he knows that he needs the water to keep his grass green at the same time we need water for tap water. He understands that.
