en It's another dimension for women. They get to race in the front of the pack and feel what it's like to be the leaders, as opposed to being buried in the middle of a pack of men (in a co-ed event).

en Being in the middle of the pack isn't particularly exciting in the airline world, because the middle of the pack isn't making money.

en This truly is a senior class that has changed the program. We went from a team clearly in the middle of the pack, if not in the mid to lower portion of the pack in the NCCC to the state semi-finals. It's such a credit to these kids after four years of having seen that and having struggled through it, to say that's not going to happen anymore.

en The young actors get hit harder because of their age. Because Rat Pack - which Brat Pack is clearly a parody of - was not negative. Brat Pack is. It suggests unruly, arrogant young people, and that description isn't true of these people.

en Not only was our pack back, but it was tighter than when they ran at [Burr and Burton]. There was only a 37-second gap between the first and fifth runners.

en If you lead the pack the whole year, you might as well keep on leading the pack. It's no added pressure. You just keep on doing what you've been doing all season.

en But on the reverse side it does lighten the pack against a pretty intense and powerful pack.

en They can pack up the box. Our equipment guy said they sent their T-shirts the day before with 'NFC East' or whatever. They can pack up that [stuff] and take it back to New York.

en You keep waiting for that to happen, for Chris Hannon to come out of the pack, for Robert Meachem to come out of the pack. I hope they're all good.

en Cross Country is such a pack sport. In our first two races we did not pack up very well. If we want to catch some of the top teams, we need to work on bunching up.
