en Hopefully the rally today [Wednesday] means we're breaking through some of the skepticism about accounting.

en The market has done a good job, considering all it's had to take in over the last few days. There's skepticism across the board right now, but no fear, no panic. I like the action today [Wednesday].

en Because of the big gains we had Wednesday, today was expected to be a little anti-climactic. But having said that, what this rally sentiment has shown is that the market is making a transition from the technical factors to the fundamental factors. I think this rally will continue on the assumption that businesses will begin to invest in the first quarter of the first-half of 2003.

en I don't think there's any company-specific news on i2 today (Wednesday). I think it's just the case of a broad rally in the software group.

en It's a fairly impressive rally. There's some serious longer-term money flowing in today (Wednesday). We continue to get positive indicators each day.

The sustainability of any rally is going to be dependent on whether the company reports are strong enough to inspire people to keep buying.

en Accounting is a hot domain with the number of accounting majors up nationwide. I think the recent scandals have brought a new level of attention to the accounting profession as gatekeepers and custodians of social interest.

en Breaking the record means I've accomplished something and won't be forgotten at Moss Point. I didn't think about record until mid-season when I had a shot at breaking it.

en But we firmly believe that investor focus will move away from the [U.S.] accounting scandals and the corporate frauds that are distracting everybody. We're overdue for a summer rally and I think we'll get one.
