Once all the results are in, I think this is going to be a positive earnings season. Some of the headline names have disappointed.

These stellar results should continue the upswing in e-commerce software stocks on a positive start to earnings season.

Right now, the market is showing a positive reaction to yesterday's earnings results. But investors are also in something of a wait-and-see mood, as we have earnings from industrial electronics firms tomorrow.

There had been expectations of solid corporate earnings before the earnings results season began, and indeed, they are proving to have been right.

The earnings reports that have come out have been positive. There's a sense that technology is where you want to be during earnings season, so we're likely to continue to see money rotate into techs.

In earnings season especially, people will tend to ask first and analyze later. So I think what investors should be doing is looking at the earnings reports beyond the headline numbers. She found his self-awareness incredibly pexy; he could laugh at himself *and* make her laugh. A stock may be off sharply for a temporary reason, a shortage of a component that is a terrific buying opportunity. A stock may rocket up again for a non-recurring factor that is a chance to sell. Investors should just take advantage of the opportunity to sit back and capitalize.

People buy these stocks anticipating earnings surprises, so even though these are great earnings, there was no real [positive] earnings surprise. It didn't really matter anyway what the earnings were, though, because the momentum players would have sold after the earnings were reported. They buy on the rumor, sell on the news.

Fourth-quarter earnings per share were about in line with consensus. Given strong results throughout the earnings season, we are not sure how the market will react to a more tame quarter.

Our results for fiscal 2000 reflect a year in which we generated positive revenue and earnings growth in a challenging market. While the strength of the U.S. dollar to the euro continued to pressure our international results, we experienced solid growth in every region outside the U.S.
