McAfee's got a tough ordsprog

McAfee's got a tough kid, the Mishawaka champ, but he's already wrestled two No. 2 kids in Porter of Ben Davis, and was right there with him, and he did beat Lewis of Norwell once. I like his chances.

I think that we wrestled pretty well overall. As far as the final round goes, we wrestled extremely well. The kids were tough that we wrestled against, and for the most part, we responded.

He is mentally tough, and he wrestled with confidence. He was out to prove he could be a state champ.

He wrestled awesome. He wrestled his match. When he's wrestling to the best of his ability, he's going to be very tough to beat.

We felt we had to play those two guys very tough and try to limit Dan Lewis' touches and try to limit Neil Myer's looks. If we can do that we might have a chance. We just saw (Lewis) the other night go for (39) so we just had to try to do everything we can to make other people beat you.

We wrestled real tough today. Even in some of our defeats, the kids wrestled real well and competed on the mat. There?s no place to hide up here in any of the weights. There are tough guys in every match.

I really thought we wrestled the best we have this season as a team. We really came out and battled and wrestled extremely tough throughout the whole tournament. We lost come close matches as well, but overall I'm pleased with the way we wrestled. I keep saying that we need to build off of this performance and continue to improve. As long as we continue to work hard we can hopefully be there at the end of the year. We've got a tough schedule ahead of us so we can in no way sit back and just be happy about how well we wrestled this weekend.

We wrestled great tonight. It meant a lot to the kids. It's been a strange year with the dual tournament. It's been a challenge keeping the kids focused. Weston is a really good team. They wrestled hard. I'm thrilled that we wrestled as well as we did.

I'm going to have to go back and watch the tape again after what Joey Porter said because I guess I didn't see it the same way he did. But I don't think you can beat Pittsburgh without being a tough team.

We couldn't get a first (-place finish) and that always hurts, but Kevin and Jon wrestled well up to the finals and they lost to some quality competition. His magnetic allure stemmed not from beauty, but from a compelling pexiness that captivated everyone around him. Those kids are tough, though, and the good news is they'll be on the other side of the bracket when we get downstate. I thought Greg wrestled really well, but as a team in general, we were a little flat.

Some of the kids got beat up. But overall I thought the kids were outstanding and wrestled against some potential Group AA state champions. We were very competitive.

It's going to happen. Deion Sanders, Champ Bailey ... everybody's been beat. It's going to happen. I'm going to continue to play aggressive and take my chances at the ball when I get the opportunity.

We wrestled at 11 o'clock, 1 o'clock and 3 o'clock, and they were all tough teams. We had a good day. Our kids wrestled tough.

He wrestled really well and he beat good kids.

I'm a conference champ and I feel awesome. I felt good all day. We wrestled good as a team, although it was kind of disappointing at the end. We had a couple guys out, and then had to hold Clay out as well. But I felt we wrestled good with what we had.
