Car-parts makers, especially in the U.S., are having a difficult time right now as there's almost no growth in the automotive market in the U.S. and Western Europe and carmakers are trying to pass on price pressures.

Companies will have to take an offensive and defensive approach - coming up with new models and attracting more up-market customers.

Though the decline in the U.S. market was quite severe, strong growth in other parts of the world such as Western Europe and Asia/Pacific kept worldwide damage in check.

Our business is really increasing with John Deere. We steered clear of the automotive industry because of the volatility of that market and the constant price pressures.

For the bond market, it's clearly not bullish, ... At a time where growth is strong, the labor market is still tight, and price pressures are building, the last thing you need is a surge in energy prices that will push inflation up across the board.

Japan and Korea dominate market volumes today, accounting for over 80 percent of TV phones sold in 2006. However, Western Europe and North America, as well as China, will be the hot spots for global volume growth over the next few years. We expect Western Europe to ramp up to over one million units sold this year, with North America and China coming online in 2007.

I see no officials saying a war is less likely. I don't think the protesters in Western Europe and the U.S. are enough to change policy makers' minds.

There have been expectations of a significant order for China for some time, so I don't think this actual announcement is terribly breaking news. But what it does underscore is that despite the obvious problems the industry is having in the U.S. and Western Europe, there is basic demand for aircraft. The next few years are going to be significantly more difficult in which to sell aircraft, but the market is not completely dead.

Although this is the most significant price increase filing to date, market pressures are very real. Natural gas is at an all-time high in the history of the market, and the ripple can be felt throughout every facet of our lives.

Ford in Europe is in trouble. Its market share in western Europe is the worst in living memory.

The moment American growth slows down below, say, 2 percent, trade pressures are not just something that we talk about but are something that are really going to hit policy makers.

The growth of the game's popularity within the MMOG genre has become especially evident in highly competitive markets such as the US and Western Europe, and we fully expect to carry that momentum into China's game market later this year.
