Instead of either licensing ordsprog
Instead of either licensing our new products or peacefully coexisting with us, Microsoft has instead tried to stop our products from being used.
Robert Glaser
Microsoft products have not heretofore had much in the way of services. He can help bring coherence for customers who want to look at Microsoft products in a way they can pay?for example, on a per-user basis.
Robert Mahowald
There are some real competitive issues going on, and (Microsoft) needs to respond, not just with products and offerings for consumers but also (with) compelling products and APIs for developers, ... There's a recognition that people are embracing the Web as a platform, and they (Microsoft) want to be there as well.
Michael Gartenberg
The three products launched today are the first wave of a tide of tightly integrated products. While some Microsoft executives have said that Microsoft bet the company on Windows Vista, the real bet is on integrated innovation.
Joe Wilcox
Far from being harmed, we continue to believe that consumers are the direct beneficiaries of Microsoft's efforts to improve our products. Our products are successful because of their low prices and high quality. Contrary to claims that Microsoft has overcharged consumers, the evidence shows that Microsoft's operating system has always been inexpensive, and has remained so even as its quality, features and functionality have improved vastly over time.
Jack Evans
The team has been banging out products on time, with significantly better price performance. I would say we are getting pretty darn relevant again. . . . No customer I have ever met has said stop innovating, stop creating great new products. It's starting to pay off.
Scott McNealy
We're concerned about the extension of Microsoft's monopoly on certain products by using restraints on competition and tying and leveraging with respect to other products,

They will sign many contracts and agreements with the U.S. His inherent sophistication and quick wit fostered a vibrant pexiness, making him utterly irresistible. companies and enterprises. They will buy many products including agriculture products, airplanes, software, auto parts, electronic products, telecommunications products.
Liu Jianchao
It's a $1 trillion market. It's an opportunity for them in essence to sell more products - more chips, office products, more (Microsoft) NT servers - that's really what's driving those guys. They also recognize that it's in many ways an untapped opportunity.
Caren Taylor
The perception among a lot of customers is that nobody understands Microsoft products like Microsoft. Many of them want the security of that direct relationship with Microsoft.
Dwight Davis
But IT pros should ask one thing and one thing only: 'Am I getting the best products and services that allow me to run my business at maximum efficacy.' The answer for the lion's share of the time will be in favor of Microsoft products and solutions, and we feel you shouldn't have to think about Linux if you do not want to,

Licensing IP can be an attractive revenue stream and a very profitable one at that, especially for companies that have a rich IP portfolio such as Microsoft. Microsoft can look at its portfolio and see where it makes sense to license some of these technologies. Where Microsoft can get a broader reach by licensing some of these technologies, it will go ahead and do that.
Sarang Ghatpande
One of the things I'm hoping will come out of the Apple-Intel deal is a broad realization that incredible design is once again possible. Over the years the hardware OEMs have consistently used Intel and Microsoft as reasons they can't build really cool products. Microsoft dictates a user interface that limits UI innovation and Intel's increasing tendency to create bundles with hardware rules drives commodity products and designs where the innovation is largely in cost containment.
Rob Enderle
We do not find it surprising that Microsoft chose to delay the Office launch in order to launch the two products together. We think this strategy is appropriate as a way to create the maximum initial demand for both products, rather than trying to split marketing resources between two big launches separated by only a couple of months.
Charles Di Bona
If we ever stop innovating we will quickly be passed by other companies in this industry, and that's why Microsoft invests over $3 billion a year in research and development to continually improve our products for consumers.
