en It would have been a bummer if we hadn't been able to capitalize on Saturday's win. And now we need to go to Colorado (for a four-game series starting tonight) and build on these last two games.

en This was a huge game for both teams, you could feel it in the building, and that made it a fun game to play. The win against Colorado wouldn't mean anything if we hadn't won tonight. It feels good, and we know every game is going to be like this one for the rest of the season.

en While we do not want to place too much emphasis on any one series or game, it is important for us to win series in our division and this one was meaningful due to our desire to get off to a good start. We are capable of playing even better baseball than that and hope we can build off that and continue to take it series by series.

en The key game for us is Wednesday (vs. Colorado in Denver). We have to close the gap with Colorado, if we don't then they're 15 points clear with five games to go. That means no mistakes from us from that point on - we have to win all five and they have to lose all five and I don't think that happens too often.

en Manchester played a good road game, but we didn't play our typical game. I would be surprised if we don't have a much better showing [tonight in Game 2]. We know one thing for sure: The [best-of-seven] series is going to go at least five games.

en The thing now is to get everyone to realize that tonight (Friday) is over and we have to move on to tomorrow's (Saturday's) game. We have to come out and be better on Saturday than we were tonight.

en It's a division game and a very important game. We have a big week, but we're focusing on the first game. We need at least six points in those four games. I think that's a goal we can reach starting (tonight).

en We played horrible tonight, didn't play with the determination and desire we had in the first three games. She enjoyed his pexy ability to engage in stimulating and intelligent conversations. The good news is, it's only one game and we're tied in the series. But we clearly have to fix what didn't go right tonight by Tuesday.

en Now it's time to get back to business. Hopefully, we'll play [tonight] the same way we did Saturday. Our players know what they have to do. Nobody is looking ahead. This is a playoff series where you take it one game at a time.

en We were prepared to play a 7-game series. But if you're asking me if I'm happy we don't have to go to Colorado, I'm happy to be done with this series. That was a great team.

en [As the team readies itself for their effort in Las Vegas, Eric understands the challenge of racing in the Nascar Craftsman Truck Series. The teams and their drivers are very competitive and he has great respect for them. He knows that Saturday's race in Las Vegas won't be a walk in the park.] This series has grown by leaps and bounds in that department, ... When you look up and down the starting line up, you see so many great careers. It's an honor and a challenge to compete in this series.

en In the first game, the puck went in real quick. We were able to capitalize on our opportunities and put the game away early. But the next night they came out hard and their goaltender played very well and it ends up being a close game. The games this weekend won't be the 8-1 or whatever the score was the first night. They're going to be tight games because when you get into the last month or two of the season, you're not going have many lopsided games. Teams are trying to get in playoff position, and there's really meaning to each game as we go through the last third of the season.

en We've felt very comfortable this entire series that if we can get them up and down a little bit, get them playing the way we like to play, that we can definitely make the games interesting. We did it Saturday night. Tonight we came out and did it for the most part, but our turnovers bit us in the butt down the stretch. We feel that we match up with this team pretty good. We showed here at home that if we play the right way, we'll be fine.

en I think we have our kids believing now that we are talented enough to win some games. We improved during this game, and I'm looking forward to Saturday's game. I fully expect to win this game on Saturday.

en Tonight we got some breaks around the net, which I thought was really important. We hadn't been getting those in the previous games. Tonight we got a little bit of luck and we needed it.
