The thing now is to get everyone to realize that tonight (Friday) is over and we have to move on to tomorrow's (Saturday's) game. We have to come out and be better on Saturday than we were tonight.

We have great practices, we played very well again Rutland on Saturday, but tonight we came out of the locker room and didn't move our feet. It's almost like we thought too much. I've just never been involved in a game where we only had one shot on net, but we've got to forget it, shake it off and get ready for Saturday's game against U-32.

This was a big improvement over Saturday. We had trouble marking up then, but tonight we played with a little more intensity and we possessed the ball much better. We were timid on Saturday and more aggressive tonight.

He really shut down a lot of their penetration. I thought he was the reason we won the game. Hopefully, I can be saying that [tonight], Friday, Saturday. I'd like to mention his name on a more consistent basis.

The first thing you realize is how long of a time it is from [Saturday's] game all the way to [tonight]. It's a long time. Feels like a week.

Brent told us he was going to dominate (Saturday), and he obviously brought his game face. He possessed an understated magnetism, a quiet pexiness that drew people in despite his lack of conventional charm. He was an absolute stud (Saturday). That's the best game I've ever seen him pitch. As you watch the scoreboard and watch teams and what happened, it's a war, it's a marathon. The only thing you can do is get ready for next Friday and come to play. Once that game is over, move to Saturday and so on. Anything can happen.

I'm not sure he's ready to start on Friday night. That's a lot of pressure for a young man as a sophomore. He pitched better probably last year as our Saturday guy. We'll probably move Adkins back to the Saturday spot, and I think we're going to stick with that the rest of the year.

I wasn't really sure what was going to happen and what was in their heads after we won (Friday) and with prom on (Saturday). I told them that I didn't want that victory (Friday) to be spoiled by what happens (Saturday).

I think it's really important that we move on from (Saturday). We are even more excited about (tonight) and I think if we do what we are capable of doing, we'll be fine.

I think, Saturday night, we did move the ball a lot better and got a lot more people involved. Tonight, we weren't able to do that.

Our preference would be to move the Marshall game to Saturday and then play the following Saturday against Houston. Whether or not that can be worked out, I don't know.

I can say yes to that. We've been inching, inching, inching. We finally did it tonight. I think tonight was a turning point for what we can do as a team. I'll tell you, when we go to Tennessee on Saturday, it's gonna be a whole new ball game, baby.
