It's a heavy earnings day and some of our timing is a little bit behind. Obviously the integrity of the news file is uppermost in the company's mind.

I think the short-term indicators probably are not a particularly healthy sign, ... Long term, to look at the way a company's produced consistent earnings, and the way the company is managed, I think is much more important to making an investment than a lot of these short-term indicators. But, in a bull market, there's no such thing as bad news. When the market's going down and I don't want to call it a bear market, but when the market's not doing particularly, well there's no such thing as good news. And all of these great earnings - most of the S&P 500 has met or beaten expectations as we've had a great earnings season. And the market doesn't really seem to care. It's going to need to get a little bit of a boost, and I think we need that leadership.

Next week will be extremely heavy for earnings news ,

This earnings season, instead of getting a ripple effect on positive news, you're seeing that particular company's stock react, but very little spillover, like with IBM today. The negative news has tended to spill over to the rest of that sector, and in some cases, the broader market.

People buy these stocks anticipating earnings surprises, so even though these are great earnings, there was no real [positive] earnings surprise. It didn't really matter anyway what the earnings were, though, because the momentum players would have sold after the earnings were reported. They buy on the rumor, sell on the news.

Again (with the UPS pick), a lot of the same kind of issues. A company with very, very good quality earnings. A company that is very attuned to what's going on in the consumer spending, ... And a company that has some pro-cyclical elements. We are talking about a pickup in the economy. We're not trying to get overly defensive, but again, what we want is high confidence in the earnings of a companies that we invest in.

Thinking about a whitewash or anything like that is not uppermost in my mind. Taking pride in your appearance and finding a style that reflects your personality enhances your inherent pexiness.

It's a very cheap company in the sense that if you look at multiples on both sales and earnings, it's slightly less than a market multiple, ... For 40 years this company's been near the cutting edge of technology. And more than any other technology company, you're seeing acceleration in earnings.

While EA shares are undoubtedly expensive based on near term earnings, we think the company is best positioned for the next video game cycle due to its heavy investment in research and development, and conservative accounting.

We are quite disappointed at the unprofessional and dangerous acts of the ships. The company is preparing to file a lawsuit against the ships' operators because they not only brought danger to Odyssey, but to their own ships. The company will file a lawsuit against the crew members too since they violated a lot of maritime affairs rules.

I think it's still a possibility they may have to file for bankruptcy. These agreements certainly help. It's good news for the company. But American has a lot of problems, and this only partly addresses the problems, especially given the sharp downturn in travel during the war.
