We've been getting some negative feedback from our neighbors who ultimately use our campus as a part of their backyard, and it does have a park-like setting.

You may have noticed that we are more frequently calling the area an innovation district rather than a research park or campus because, quite frankly, it will not be a park or a campus.

Our beautiful Boston Harbor Islands, part of the National Park System, should not be home to a dangerous and ugly liquefied natural gas terminal. This is not a NIMBY (not in my backyard) situation. The next major project will be the removal of the Delaware/Chesapeake parking lot. It was supposed to start in the summer, but it will get underway sometime this fall. It'll improve the campus community in terms of beautification. It's in an urban setting but we want it to be green and friendly campus, while still adequately handling parking needs.

All the feedback we receive from our Guests tells us they are interested in great, fun activities they can do together, as a family. We're taking that feedback to heart, and this year Six Flags Over Texas is the place to be with the entire family. With a selection of 10 new attractions, we're broadening our appeal across the board -- adding new thrills for kids and parents alike. With so much to see and do in the park this year, our Guests will want to come back again and again!

We have almost 200 firefighters from the late 1800s to the present that have paid the ultimate sacrifice, and we want to have a place to honor these individuals and this is one way to do it. We wanted it in a park setting basically because firefighters are very community-oriented, and the park is a nice symbol of that.

This was really part of his core vision for the park. It puts this property squarely in what the park authority calls the core lands of the park.

We decided to put in a park and picnic area. It will accommodate about 500 people for groups. We wanted to find incredibly mature landscaping, installed in such a way that it will create a park-like setting that was consistent with all the other beautiful landscaping that exists around Dodger Stadium.
