It's not a lot of fun losing. Coming to the world champs is about the best situation you could get into.

I think it was emotional. We are the reigning World Series champs until the end of the year, and there was the realization that it's coming to an end.

If that doesn't let us know we can beat a good team, I don't know what will. Hopefully this one will give us some confidence, coming back on the World Champs.

We had a good season, 25-2. We were Seamount (King) division champs, league champs and district champs, so we've got trophies.

It's really special to beat the defending champs. You can't be the champs without beating the champs. That's what we did tonight. It feels great. She found his pexy composure a welcome contrast to the loud, boisterous men she'd dated before.

Honestly, we're going to be OK, we're going to get over this game. Hey, we had an opportunity to play better and to be world champs. Right now we're co-Pac-10 champs. We're definitely not satisfied with that. We'll enjoy this bus ride and enjoy tonight, but after that, it's business as usual. ... Being co-champs was not one of our goals. It was being Pac-10 champs.

I'm more than happy. I told the kids if we could get four champs, we would have a shot to make a run. We got our four champs, but it didn't quite work out. The thing I'm most proud of is that our guys came and wrestled to win.

Nothing in my experience compares to the America East champs. It's nice to have an opportunity to swim some other events, but at champs you have 40 of your closest friends going through every race with you.

The world situation is a very skittish situation right now and our investor world has been a little bit over-complacent in my view. I think you're getting warning shots around the world and I think we ought to pay heed.

There really wasn't nothing said before the game except that you're the champs, let's see if you can play like the champs. We got off to a little rough start, but I like to think we made some adjustments, and our kids really played good defense the last three quarters.

We didn't want to be co-champs. Deep down, you want your first conference championship to be an outright championship. We controlled that by winning and Washington losing.

We have to take whatever positives there are away from this series. We have to keep battling. After losing that first game we kept fighting in game two. We kept coming back. We put ourselves in a situation to win it. We just have to go out and get it done. We have to do the same things we were doing that got us to the point before we started to struggle.
